Demo · how albums work
From a film to a book, in five steps.
Open the style galleryPhotos are drawn samples and the families are fictional.
How each album is built
- Chapters come from the story. Each chapter is one moment from the film, in the film's order, with its place and date.
- Pacing follows the story arc. Opening: one photo with space. Build: more photos. Climax: one full-page photo. Closing: one calm photo.
- Photos are cropped around faces, so nobody's head is cut off.
- Only names the customer confirmed are printed.
- "From your photos" tints the accent colour from the customer's own pictures. The photos are never changed.
What makes each one different
Every style has its own cover material, paper, type and one signature page: a cast of family members, a month-by-month strip, letters to the graduate, a route map, a postcard, a then-and-now spread and more.
Print-ready
Pages are square, matching an 8 × 8 in hardcover. The printed book uses these same pages, with print margins added for each printer.
